A spiritual cuisine

I am the snow
I come and go
With a melted soul
I make rivers flow.

I am the storm
I’m cold and warm
I quickly change form
So I can transform.

I am the sea
I am the deep
I’m life underneath
So I am carefree.

I am the sun
Never outdone
Clouds cannot shun
What I have begun.

I am the rain
Droughts never gain
I feed food chains
I don’t stay in drains.

I am the clouds
Constant sky shrouds
Love being in a crowd
Black & white proud.

I’m what is seen
The Mother Earth queen
A spiritual cuisine
Can you see what I mean ?.

Feeling home

Feeling home
A place that’s spiritual
Behind the veil
Infects the natural
A place to belong
A place to sing a song
Where I can be myself,

That’s my home
A place that’s spiritual
Put up my sail
The wind is powerful
Where the weak is strong
And the boat floats along
A safe Harbour to stay,

Where I am free to make mistakes
And bring freedom of fear,
And the transfer of His love takes place
With the transfer my of cares,
And the safety of the Father’s arms
Comforts mind and soul
Assurance to the anxious heart
From the God who has control.

So there’s my home
A place internal
Where I am known
A place that’s powerful
Where my life makes sense
Free from worthless trends
That fades over wasted time

Where I can know what is real
And meaning is defined
By the God of Truth who sets me free
To what is good and kind
And a Kingdom that is spiritual
Is reality
Infects that which is natural
And brings vitality…

Emotional man or spiritual man ?

The emotional man is at the whim
Of circumstantial and deathly sting,
He never seems to see or learn
The emotional way will be short term.

The spiritual man is one who sees
Past the forest and past the trees,
External perspective gives him power
When circumstances tend to sour.

You can always tell an emotional man
His hope will fade like hour-glass sand,
But the spiritual man though has no clue
Is stable and anchored with his top-down view.

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you…”(Romans 8:5, 6, 9 NKJV)

Learning to live married

20130316-103926.jpg

“…I was a husband to them, says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 31:32 NKJV). ” Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,” (Ephesians 5:25 NKJV)

My husband walks with me
Down my path of life,
For God is my Spiritual Husband
And I am His Spiritual wife.

For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (II Corinthians 11:2 NKJV)

My Husband-God is faithful
He always sees me pure,
When I know to whom I’m married
I’m always safe and secure.

You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections. Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? (II Corinthians 6:12-14 NKJV)

Because I know His affections
I have no eyes for another,
My focus is on my Husband
No need for another lover.

Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. (Romans 7:4, 6 NKJV)

My husband imparts to me life
I’m not married to any law,
A communion of intimate fellowship
Is what I was born for !.

Note: a lady asked a widower if he was lonely without a wife. He replied “you are never lonely when you have The Lord”. The lady wept.
