The inconvenience of truth

The inconvenience of truth
Is that life comes from death,
Most inconvenient for Christ
Himself who was gladly spent.

Who loved more
To be loved less,
Who gave all
To be a curse,
Gave His riches
To become skint,
Yet kept His focus
And set His face like flint.

The Seed put Himself into the ground
The promise of itself
Reproducing what it paid for
Motivated by love
Most inconvenient.
