The leaven from heaven

And again He said, “To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.” (Luke 13:20, 21 NKJV)

And again He said, To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like yeast which a woman having taken, hid in three measures of wheat flour until the whole of it was permeated by the yeast. (Wuest)

Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. (I Corinthians 5:7 NKJV)

The leaven from heaven

The stewardess
And one loaf

Working in secret together
Slowly, effectively
Until the whole lump knows the Life

The leaven from heaven
Hidden in the dough
In the dark
Working slower than the Earthly eye

The leaven from heaven
Always works
Requiring patience from the stewardess
Who, with the Tri-une measures of flour
Become one Life with the seed

The stewardess becomes the lump
The women, the bride is married to the Passover Himself
Oneness
They look the same
She now looks like
The leaven from heaven.

Blood in, blood out

The creed of the gang
Blood in, blood out.

Identity
Attention
Insecurity
Acceptance
Significance
All gifted at the place of blood.

Slash a face
Forget any grace
Stab an enemy
A day in infamy
At the gang’s entrance
A deceiving sentence.

Only way out
Prove you can fight
Kick some butt
Spill more blood
Roll the dice
Pay the price.

The gang demanded the same cost
Blood to spill from His cross
The same blood to bring them in
In exchange for the gang’s sin
Opportunity to be bought out
Of darkness into the light.

The creed of the Godhead
Blood in, blood out.

_____________________________

the creed of gang life is that you have to spill blood to get in, and the only way out is to spill more blood; even your own by death !.

So they cried out again, “Crucify Him!” Then Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has He done?” But they cried out all the more, “Crucify Him!” So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and he delivered Jesus, after he had scourged Him, to be crucified. (Mark 15:13-15 NKJV)…blood bought us into His Kingdom, and takes us out of “the gang” !.

Unlearning

Unlearning
Offloading
Old concepts that cannot deliver
Only way forward is to go back to the vanilla.

Empty clouds with empty precepts
Leave a trail of burn-out
Promises bereft of life giving rain
Grow confused minds and chains.

Soft hearted believers can’t hear His voice
Slave mentality screams too loud
Only a son has the run of the house
And taste from the cupboard of spice.

Going back to the start and crying “Abba Father”
Is when fellowship replaces legalism
And benefits of the believer’s liberation
Deliver the promises of the resurrection !.

Sometimes, the journey to the joy of “every spiritual blessing”, and experiencing the Life of Christ, starts with unlearning old concepts and doctrines that have bound us up. Either legalism leads us, or the Spirit leads us; you can’t be lead by both in the long term.

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. (Colossians 2:8 NKJV)

Whoever falsely boasts of giving Is like clouds and wind without rain. (Proverbs 25:14 NKJV)

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:14, 15 NKJV)
