The yeast in the leaven

The kingdom of God is like a women
Who puts some yeast in the leaven
Three measures of meal
Shows us the Kingdom of heaven.

There are 2 sides to the coin
There is an aspect of the negative
That’s where most people focus
But there’s another side that’s positive.

For as we focus and believe
On the glories of Jesus Christ
He becomes the yeast within
That grows and becomes my life.

For the Spiritual measure of meal
Then over a period of time
Mixes into the unrecognizable
His life is infused with mine.

Without ever knowing when
My life and His become one
And effortless and joyful living
Through me looks like the Son !.

Luke 13:20-21 “And again He said, To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like yeast which a woman having taken, hid in three measures of wheat flour until the whole of it was permeated by the yeast.” (Wuest version)

1 Corinthians 5:6-9 “Your boasting [in the state of the local assembly] is not seemly or fitting. Do you not know with a positive assurance that a little yeast permeates and affects the entire bread dough with itself? 7 Cleanse out completely, at once and for all, the old yeast which is part of a world which has passed away for you and out from which you were saved, in order that you may be a fresh aggregation of individuals, even as you are without yeast. For, indeed, our Passover was slain, Christ. 8 Wherefore, let us be keeping the feast, not with the yeast which has been relegated to a time that is past when we lived a life not for us today, neither with the yeast of malice and perniciousness, but with cakes permeated and affected by the yeast of an unadulterated life, having no admixture of evil in them, and having in them the yeast of truth.” (Wuest version)
